Jets Name Team Captains

The New York Jets named QB Brett Favre and OG Alan Faneca as their offensive captains for the upcoming season. Favre, 38, was recently acquired via a trade with the Green Bay Packers. Faneca, 31, signed as a free agent this offseason.
DE Shaun Ellis and FS Kerry Rhodes will captain the defense, while RB Leon Washington and LB David Bowens are named special team captains.
