Both MLB David Harris and QB Kellen Clemens left today's practice session early but for different reasons... Harris took S Jim Leonhard's helmet to the mouth while being on the sidelines. Initially it was reported that Harris lost some teeth, but head coach Rex Ryan did not confirm that during his press conference later. Clemens ran off the field about 15 minutes before the practice ended as his wife is expecting.

Contrary to various reports that the Jets might be interested in troubled CB Adam "Pacman" Jones, the New York Daily News reports that the Jets have no desire to deal with the 25-year old cornerback who's had various legal issues throughout his career. Besides Jones' unpredictable behavior, signing him would make little sense as the Gang Green are pretty much set at cornerback where they have Darrelle Revis and recently acquired Lito Sheppard as their starters.
According to various sources, another trade between the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns might be in the works. The Jets are reportedly looking to trade disgruntled RB Thomas Jones for Cleveland's WR Braylon Edwards.
