Admin - August 18, 2009

Pro Bowl C Nick Mangold returned to practice this morning after missing one week with a knee injury. NT Kris Jenkins continued working on the stationary bike. OG Alan Faneca and OT Damien Woody were out as well.

QB Kellen Clemens, who put himself back into the quarterback race yesterday, practiced with the first team this morning, while QB Mark Sanchez was with the twos. NT Sione Pouha and OL Rob Turner got into a brief fight.

The Jets also signed rookie undrafted free agent LB Joshua Mauga and waived TE J’Nathan Bullock, a basketball star at Cleveland State, who hadn’t played football since high school.

Former Jets' QB Brett Favre is expected to sign a deal with the Minnesota Vikings.
