Jenkins Out Against Patriots?

There's a conflicting report on ESPN that NT Kris Jenkins might miss the game against the New England Patriots due to a back injury. Jenkins, according to the same source, missed today's practice. He was also limited in Wednesday and Thursday practice sessions.

The big nose tackle is the essential part of the Jets' 3-4 defensive scheme. He was acquired in a trade last year and started in all 16 games, recording 50 tackles (37 solo), 3.5 sacks.

UPDATE: Head coach Rex Ryan has stated that Jenkins should be ok to go on Sunday.
