Jets Regular Season

No longer unbeaten

Admin - October 4, 2009

The three game winning streak ended this afternoon in New Orleans, as the Gang Green fell to the Saints, 10-24. QB Mark Sanchez' four turnovers, two of which resulted in 14 points for the Saints, were the difference in this hard fought contest where the final score did not really reflect how close the game really was.

The defense did their job, limiting QB Drew Brees to only 190 passing yards and a 78.9 passer rating. They also stopped the Saints twice on a 4th and 1, but did seem to have worn out at the end, allowing an 11-play 74-yard touchdown drive in the final quarter.

The Jets are 3-1 and will face Miami (1-3) on October 12th. We'll have our game review early tomorrow...
