Cotchery misses another practice

Admin - October 15, 2009

It's now almost a certainty that WR Jerricho Cotchery will miss Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills with a hamstring injury. Cotchery sat out his second day of practice in a row this morning. WR Brad Smith (quad) also did not practice for the second straight day and is doubtful to play on Sunday. WR David Clowney was getting reps with the first team along with WR Braylon Edwards. TE Dustin Keller was lining up wide in three receiver sets.

OT Damien Woody (foot) and DE Shaun Ellis (knee) also sat out for the second straight day. Woody played last week with the injury and will likely go again. The extent of Ellis' injury isn't known.

Practice squad RB Danny Woodhead has been moved to wide receiver and is now wearing #83. Woodhead is a little small for an NFL running back, but might be a good fit the slot receiver position.
