Jets Defense Looks Helpless In First Half

After al this talk about going to the playoffs despite starting the season 4-4 and today's game being a must win, the Jets defense simply forgot to show up this afternoon. They have already allowed 3 touchdowns and 250 yards against Jacksonville, proving once again that a lot of talking doesn't translate into results on the field.

QB Mark Sanchez has looked subpar, completing just 6 of his 14 passes, 1 INT, 1 TD. RB Thomas Jones has looked good running the football (4.5 yards per carry), but has gotten only 10 carries in the first half. TE Dustin Keller has the team high 4 catches, while WR Braylon Edwards is yet to see a single pass thrown in his direction.

The Jets are down 21-13 at the half and have to make some serious adjustments on both sides to have a chance in this game.

The Jets should worry less about "swagger" and concentrate more on actual playing ability. So many Jet fans had been bragging about their record being better than that of Miami's. Well not anymore. Miami is improving as the season plays out, and the Jets are falling apart. Miami sweeping the Jets this year may have cost the Jets any shot for the play-offs at all. As Jackie Gleason used to say, "Oh how sweet it is!"

Miami improving? hahaha... They got lucky against Tampa.
