Sanchez returns to practice, but no QB decision yet

Admin - December 16, 2009

QB Mark Sanchez was limited in practice this morning after missing last game with a knee injury. He split first team reps with QB Kellen Clemens who replaced him last Sunday against Tampa Bay. Head coach Rex Ryan said that he will name the starter for the game against the Atlanta Falcons later in the week. Although it's pretty obvious that Sanchez is going to start unless he reinjures his knee.

DE Shaun Ellis and CB Dwight Lowery were also limited in today's practice. Ellis was questionable against the Bucs, while Lowery has missed the last three games with an ankle injury.

S Jim Leonhard (thumb) and CB Marquice Cole (knee) fully participated in the practice session.

OG Robert Turner was the only player who did not practice.
