NFL Draft

Jets select Kyle Wilson in first round

The New York Jets selected CB Kyle Wilson from Boise State with their #29 overall selection in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Wilson, 5'10", 194 lbs, is one of the best cornerbacks in the Draft and is a nice addition to the strong Jets' secondary that already features CB Darrelle Revis and CB Antonio Cromartie.

Kyle is an all-out playmaker with excellent balance and cover skills to go along with good instincts and smarts. He's also a very good return man. Wilson has also shown top notch athleticism throughout his career with the Broncos, along with aggressiveness trying to break up passes. He shows natural instincts to diagnose plays and is not fooled easy by play-action.

During his NCAA career Wilson intercepted 11 passes and forced one fumble. In the senior year he picked off 3 passes and returned 2 of them for touchdowns.
