Jets Rebound In Power Rankings

After losing to the Ravens and falling in power rankings in the opening week, the New York Jets rebounded with a great win against the New England Patriots, 28-14. As a result, the Gang Green's stock went up on two of the three major sports websites. ESPN has them at #6 (up from #11), FOX Sports has them at #6 (also #6 a week ago), and CBS Sports placed the Jets at #14 (up from #17 a week ago).

Here's what the top 3 websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN:  See what happens when things get easier for Mark Sanchez? The completions start comin.

FOX Sports: That was quite a bounce back performance from QB Mark Sanchez against the Patriots. But finding consistency is still an issue for the second-year signal caller. Now he'll have to get it done on the road at Miami against the suddenly improved Dolphin defense.

CBS Sports: Mark Sanchez put the critics aside for a week with the way he played against the Patriots. He gets a chance to keep it that way in a huge division game Sunday night against the undefeated Dolphins.
