Both ESPN and Fox Sports upped their position by 4 points (from #9 to #5 and from #10 to #6 respectively). Only Pete Prisco of CBS Sports thought that the win against Pittsburgh wasn't really worth that much, as the Jets went up by only 1 point (from #9 to #8) in CBS Sports' latest poll.

FOX Sports: For whatever reason, the Jets are still throwing the ball more than running it, even when they are leading in a game. The foundation has to start with the running game, not with second-year QB Mark Sanchez.
CBS Sports: That was a season-saver at Pittsburgh, maybe the thing to get them back on track. All they need to do is win one more and they are playoff bound.
