Jets Remain Idle In Power Rankings Despite Winning

So, the Jets put an end to their 3-game losing streak on Monday, but the win did not seem to impress the top three sports websites. All of them pretty much kept the Jets' position unchanged in their latest power rankings. ESPN was the only one of the three who moved the Jets up - from #17 a week ago to #16. Pete Prisco of CBS Sports kept the Jets at #20. While FOX Sports decided that the win wasn't worth anything at all, as they lowered the Gang Green's position from #12 to #14.

Here's what the top 3 websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN:  No team needed a win more than the Jets.

FOX Sports: Not the best offensive performance on Monday night, but they put together some scoring drives when they needed to. And having CB Darrelle Revis on your side helps a little, too.

CBS Sports: They broke out of a slump to beat the Dolphins on Monday night. The defense made the big play with a Darrelle Revis pick for a score, but the offense finally showed some life.
