Jets stay put in power rankings after beating Buffalo

Admin - November 29, 2011

The New York Jets remained exactly where they were a week ago in power rankings of all three major sports websites. ESPN kept the Gang Green at #15, while both FOX Sports and CBS Sports had them at #16. There's no surprise here as the last quarter win against the struggling Bills barely impressed anyone. Now the Jets will have to work really hard to make it back to the top 10, where they were just a few weeks ago.

Here's what the top 3 websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN:  Every week is a playoff game for the Jets, who have zero margin for error.

FOX Sports: Even with the recent struggles of the Jets' offense, I have a sinking suspicion that QB Mark Sanchez will get this team into the playoffs. They have a manageable schedule for the remaining five weeks, but will most likely need to win four of the next five to earn the AFC wild-card spot.

CBS Sports: That was a season-saving drive to beat the Bills. Is that what Mark Sanchez needed to get it going?
