Jets return to top 10 in power rankings

Admin - December 6, 2011

Following their win against the Washington Redskins, the Gang Green are back to exactly where they were four weeks ago before losing to New England and Denver. ESPN raised their stock from #15 to #11. FOX Sports put the Jets back into the top 10 - from #16 to #9. Finally, CBS Sports followed ESPN's suit and placed the Gang Green at #11 as well (up from #16 a week ago).

Here's what the top 3 websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN:  Jets QB Mark Sanchez is channeling his inner Tim Tebow with clutch fourth quarters.

FOX Sports: So much has been said about Tebow's ability to bring his team back in the fourth quarter, but Mark Sanchez has done it 11 times for the Jets, and that is impressive. He gets a lot of the blame for the downfalls in New York, but when the game is on the line, he is reliable. The Jets are getting hot again, and with no remaining games against an opponent with a winning record, they have a good chance at securing the final wild-card spot in the AFC.

CBS Sports: Mark Sanchez has won 30 games in three seasons, counting the playoffs. But can he win the big one?
