Jets take #14 spot in all power rankings

Admin - November 8, 2013

For the first time since we started tracking power rankings here on TheGangGreen.com, all websites are in agreement, as they all placed the Gang Green at #14. The Jets moved two spots up from #16 in ESPN's rankings. FOX Sports followed the suit, also moving Rex Ryan's team two spots up from #16. CBS moved the Jets three spots up, and finally ProFootballTalk, who ranked the Jets at the lowest #18 last week, moved them four positions up. CNN SI decided not to produce their power rankings this week.

Here's what all these websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN: Geno Smith's eight completions were thrown a total of 7 yards downfield Sunday. Josh Cribbs' one completion was thrown more than twice as far (15 yards).

FOX Sports: Rex Ryan is now 5-0 against his brother when facing off when both are either a coordinator or head coach. The Jets have yet to win back-to-back games all season, but that could change with the Bills on the schedule after a bye this weekend.

CBS Sports: At 5-4, they would be in the playoffs if they started today. Wow. Give credit to Rex Ryan.

ProFootballTalk: John Idzik has found a quarterback and, whether Idzik wants him or not, a coach.

CNN SI: N/A

The Jets are off this week, so their position will most likely remain unchanged in the next edition of power rankings. Meanwhile, you can place a bet on other NFL teams at SportsBettingOnline.ag. The next Jets' opponent, the Buffalo Bills, are 3-point underdogs on the road against the Steelers.
