CB Darrelle Revis, who skipped a voluntary practice last Thursday because he was unhappy with his contract negotiations, rejoined the Jets on Tuesday for their next-to-last offseason practice. The All-Pro cornerback is looking for a long-term extension with a salary that would make him the highest paid player at his position.

Jets QB Mark Sanchez threw some passes today, the first day of organized team activities, as he participated in in drills on a limited basis. The Jets confirmed that Sanchez threw some passes in 7-on-7 drills and participated in individual drills, but was not part of team drills in the first on-field session of the offseason.

According to various sources, QB Mark Sanchez is expected to miss most or all of the Jets' OTAS and minicamps following knee surgery. Sanchez had surgery February 17 to strengthen a patella tendon injury he suffered in college and reaggravated last season. The Jets' final game was January 24. "Insiders tell ESPN.com that some folks, including a few who draw paychecks from the team, wished the former first-rounder had undergone surgery much earlier," the report says.

RB Danny Woodhead is reportedly getting the majority of the snaps with the first team during voluntary workouts at the New York Jets training facility. Woodhead, 24, went undrafted in 2008 but was signed by the Gang Green later as an undrafted free agent. The team then waived him before the start of the season.
