Should have been a 5 minute major

Couldn't have said it better, team with a stone age persona, we're losing, so let's goon it up, they've been the same for 40 years...the best way to beat them is to score on the PP...what a defensive effort last night, best team game we played all year, outshot them 13-1 in the last period of a tie game...now lets wipe them out Sunday!

Let me add to that: The Rangers must be patient on the power play. They have to ignore the 18,000+ idiots in the fans who scream "Shoot It!" the second they touch the puck. The Flyers defense is SO bad, that if you cycle that puck around, that golden opportunity will be there.

The passing on the double minor PP was pin point perfect

Puck handling under AV is impressive

Strange as it may sound, yes.

Last night, those 3rd period power plays were a thing of beauty. At times it looked like a Stastny Bros. Quebec Nordique power play at its puck-moving best.

ok guys I'm happier than a drug addict on refill day at the pharmacy, but I'm staying even keeled. what I saw were a ton of harmless shots from the rangers until the tides turned on the powerplays in the third. yes they did out possess the flyers, and the defense was incredible holding them to very few opportunites, but they have to win 4 games, I wish they were playing tomorrow instead of sunday, what's Mason's status? anyone know?

Why are some of you saying the Flyers gooned it up and took stupid penalties? The kid who took the high stick tried to hit hagelin and his stick rode up. It wasn't goonery and it was properly called a double minor.

The most impressive part of last nights game was the fact that we had the puck the whole game. I am not at all impressed with the Flyer D. Cant blame Emery except for that fat, juicy rebound he gave up on Zucc's goal.

Not worried at all about this series

I think the Flyers' defensive unit may be the worst in the NHL playoffs.

He was the Rangers #1 possession player last night in a dominant puck possession performance by the entire team.

I feel bad for Giroux that he's stuck on that team. They have very little offensive talent. He would score over 100 points some years if he played with some offensively talented players. He's not the best player in the league, but I think he's one of the most talented offensive players in the league. After Crosby, he's up there with guys like Toews, Getzlaf, Stamkos, Malkin and Tavares for the best center in the league.

The Schenn brothers started the goonery once the Flyers went down a few goals. They acted like the fake tough guys that they are. Rinaldo took a stupid penalty late in the game like he always does and Hall started going after the Rangers when the game was over.

Both trades for the Schenn's were bad trades. The trade to get Luke Schenn was worse because they gave up JVR for a bad player, but don't forget that they gave up a very good player for Brayden Schenn and Wayne Simmonds. Simmonds has turned into a good player and Brayden Schenn isn't too bad either, but Mike Richards is a very good player. The Kings won that trade.

Just a tough loss today...Blew a lead and just did not capitalize on the powerplay. Alot of looking around and no shooting and we went 1/6 on the PP.

We let the Flyers get their forechecking going after the first we just lost the focus we had...Lundqvist was not as sharp in the second but did step it up in the third.

Anyways, a tough loss now lets see if the Rangers who were the best road team in the NHL this season can do something in Philly.

Defense was a bit shaky at times but overall I thought they played decent. We just didn't get the breaks this game. It happens, it's hockey.
