Now that we know who was available with each one our picks I'd like to see what other jets fan would've done. I'm a big fan of our draft and think we had a great weekend but surely we have different opinions on who we should have taken. This should be fun.

Round 1 (18) S Calvin Pryor - this one was tough. Selfishly I wanted Johnny and at the time I would've taken Cooks over a DB. After looking it over I'm glad we took Pryor.
Round 2 (49) TE Jace Amaro - this was the guy I wanted all along and really thought we should've traded up to get, awesome value at 49.
Round 3 (80) RB/WR/KR Dri Archer - at the time I thought it was too early to take him and I wanted Gabe Jackson but Archer is a pure playmaker and he would've been an awesome addition. I like the McDougle pick more than I initially did but I really like Archer.
Round 4 (104) CB Aaron Colvin - even though he was recently injured he will be a playmaker at some point and if healthy would've been a day 2 pick. I was surprised to see him go so early.
Round 4 (115) WR Shaq Evans - I like the pick we couldn't trade up and get Lee and passed on Cooks had to take one here.
Round 4 (137) OG Dakota Dozier - this one was close with OLB Prince Shembo but everyone seems to be high on this guy and seems like we got a great pick.
Round 5 (154) QB AJ McCarron - really like the line backer we got and I think he'll be a great special teams player for us but we needed a QB in the later rounds and I'm not a Boyd fan. Murray, Fales, McCarron anyone of them would've worked
Round 6 (195) CB Brandon Dixon - seems like he could be a good player
Round 6 (209) WR Quincy Enunwa - love this pick should've gone earlier
Round 6(210) OLB IK Enemkpali - Almost put Skov here but he didn't get drafted so I'll keep this pick
Round 6 (213) WR Mike Campanaro - can't believe Baltimore got him in the 7th
Round 7 (233) OLB Trevor Reilly - great pick in the 7th can't complain.

I was surprised I didn't change much. Really like our draft class. What would you guys do?

You drop Saunders which I thought was one of the better draft picks in this class and you essentially swap one injury prone corner for another. Although Colvin is impressive when he is healthy

Would have went Dennard in the first, Amaro in the second, Moncrief with our third.

Too lazy to check specific names but I would have gone with a WR in the 3rd and CB in the 4th.

on the bright side, i am glad the Lions reached for the darling of the pre-draft hype machine and took the decision out of Rex / Idik's hands.

the guy has suspect hands and is running with the 2nd team behind stone-handed plodder Brandon Pettitgrew

    http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/9390/eric-ebron

The Detroit Free Press reports first-round TE Eric Ebron has dropped "an inordinate number" of passes through spring and the first two days of camp.
At least one NFL scout questioned Ebron's hands, especially when going over the middle, in the pre-draft process. He had an 11.4 percent drop rate last season at UNC. Coach Jim Caldwell isn't worried, and blames Ebron learning so many positions and thinking too much right now for his shaky hands. It could be an up-and-down rookie year for Ebron. He's a late-round flier in re-draft. Jul 30 - 9:56 AM

Never liked Ebron. A TE with the dropsies isn't neither a safety net nor a reliable red zone threat, which are the two things you're looking for in a receiving TE.

Definitely premature, but Cooks and Matthews look to be potentially great receivers and we passed on both when we had enough picks to trade up and actually snag both. Instead we go and get...Saunders and Evans? and Amaro in the 2nd? When clearly our biggest need was receiver

agree mostly...my biggest gripe was the run on WR in the middle rounds. a deep draft and u make a run of 3 straight picks at 1 position?? thought that we needed 1st/2nd round talent at that position that could challenge for a starting spot. not project material.

    Vikings waived TE A.C. Leonard.

Leonard was signed as an intriguing UDFA following May's draft. He's an athletic tight end who was a four-star recruit to Florida before off-field issues sent him to Tennessee State. Leonard left practice early last week with a "headache" and didn't return before getting his walking papers Wednesday.

This guy had the fastest 40 of all the tight ends this combine at 4.5 and over 1000 yards in a season. I'd love it if we could bring him in for a look to light a fire under Amaro and maybe a win a spot.

I'm still happy with Pryor at 1. I really liked Pryor.

I hated Amaro from the second the pick was made. In the second, I really really wanted to try to trade up for Lee (which the Jets tried too), but it didn't work. When we went on the clock, I wanted Davante Adams. If not Adams, Allen Robinson, and then Attaochu.

Evans possibly on IR and to miss entire rookie season. Idzik gets a D- on that pick.
