Assuming Glazers report from earlier in the year is true, which franchise does he go to? Oakland? Chicago? Miami (he denied em last time so I think he would again)? Atlanta? or back to college ? (I do not think he goes back to college)
I bet you he's the Raiders coach next year. There was a report that his old lady doesn't want to leave the bay area and he has strong interest in the Raiders because of that. Also, in a wildcard, don't rule out the University of Kansas no matter how crazy that seems. His old lady is from Kansas, they are looking to hire a big name, and as power hungry as he is, he could have practically any power he wanted there.
My moneys on Oakland to. Miami got denied last time, they are already planning to pursue him again but I dont see anything different than what it was in 2011 offseason. Chicago is a possibility but I dont know if they are going to unload Trestman, im not sure about their situation, and I dont know if anyone would want to tie themselves to Cutler. Harbaugh wants full control of the team to so I cant see him ending up on either NY team, both GMs are GMs that are making decisions. It just seems set up perfectly for Oakland to hand the franchise to Harbaugh, allow him to choose the players, etc.
Harbaugh goes to Oakland. They really need him to turn around their organization's reputation and culture.
He'll be in Gainesville next season, to replace that awful coach that is Will Muschamp. If he were to remain in the NFL ,I wouldn't rule out Atlanta if Mike Smith is fired. They have a franchise QB, two dynamic wide receivers, and a LT for the next decade. Other than the Falcons I don't see him taking any other NFL job.
Oakland Raiders would make plenty of sense. Could finally see them turning it around if he did go there.
Said this before, but Harbaugh will only return to college if he realizes he failed as an NFL coach (which he has not). NFL is the highest level of competition. Harbaugh isn't leaving the NFL just yet. Even if the 49ers let him go.
Yep and the NFL is an ever changing league, so if he leaves now, and came back in five years, he might not be as successful. It just doesnt always work out sometime. The more years he is removed from the NFL, the worse for him IMO. He has got to stay, he has been to important for the NFL and it would be a small blow if they lost him. He revived the 49ers, I think he might go to Oakland and revive them. (but it might be hard when you have Peyton and Rivers in there right now).
U of Michigan will do anything to get him, I bet, and he has ties there. If he wants to go back to College he will end up there. Otherwise, no idea.
He most likely stays on the West Coast whether he ends up in college or another pro gig. I highly doubt he goes to the Raiders. Only people desperate for their first HC gig take the Raiders job (Lane Kiffin, Dennis Allen, Cable, Jackson). The Jets are the Raiders East. Many people will want to stay away given the current state of the franchise. Harbaugh should come to the Jets but Woody and his crack staff will never even pursue this guy. Shame.
