What's More Likely A. Mauldin and Coples both have double digit sacks B. Petty starts game 4 and stays Jets QB for a decade.
Would also go with A. I hope it's B but A is more likely. It's not unheard of for a rookie LB to come in and get 10+ sacks, and Coples is very capable of getting double digit sacks as well. For a mid round QB to come in and become that franchise guy for the next 10 years, stuff like that usually doesn't happen unfortunately. But he's got the tools, he's just extremely raw. We'll see what he looks like in preseason, whether he really needs a year to develop or maybe he can just come in and play this season, or heck maybe even compete with Geno for week 1.
which brings us to our next one: A) Geno starts more games than Fitz B) Fitz starts more games than Geno
Tough one. I'm gonna take a leap of faith here and hope that Fitz doesn't play a single game. Which means Geno plays so well he can't be taken off the field. So A). But who knows what kind of Geno shows up come week 1.
haha watch them both start 8 games, which bring us to our next one: A) Geno starts the last game B) Fitz starts the last game
I think the last game might go to Petty unless we're still fighting for a playoff spot in which case I'd say A) Geno starts the final game. But it's like flipping a coin...
Petty starts 2 games. The coples choice is performance based which frankly will be tough to do. Petty could easily start 2 games if Geno Stinks & Fitzpatrick gets injured/stays injured.
Geno Smith Passes Single Season Record for TDs OR Chad Pennington comes out of retirement and signs with the Jets
I would be thrilled if he could get the job game one. I watched Petty alot in college and he put up alot of points.
