9 HR's in his last 8 games.... 1st Met player to ever do that.

I am praying that Wright and D'arnaud can stay healthy because they will give the lineup some much needed sparks. Cannot believe it's August 3rd and the Mets are in 1st place. Didn't see that coming.

Omg what a fucking game last night. I have no voice. That 5th inning was insanity! THe stadium was rocking. Thor is incredible. The entire night was awesome. LETS GOOOOO!!

One thing that annoys me.. How many standing ovations does Flores need? Every time the guy gets up to bat there is a standing ovation. I like the kid. He's a good player and I'm glad he wants to play for the NYM, but god dam, enough of the standing ovations.

Terry said Matz back in early Sep't. Being careful for sure

Wright's gotta be pretty close now. His best days are prolly behind him but he'll help for sure

The 40 man roster in Sep't is gonna be interesting

Adam Ruben was on ESPN radio yesterday morning and he said that Wright is going to travel to Miami with the team and go through pregame warmups, and then when the team goes off to Tampa, Wright is going to go Port St. Lucey (sp?) for rehab games. He said 2-3 weeks at most for Wright. The Mets are nervous about him diving for balls and how he will handle the impact with his back.

Yeah, kinda looking like a DH/Pinch hitter. Maybe get a start at 3B and come out in the late innings.

Gotta really suck for him to see this coming to maturation and missing it with the injuries, and possibly not being fit carry to on into the future.

That was a big piece at 3B. Sucks for everybody

Gary Cohen was saying Duda's feat was tied at one point with only Bobby Bonilla and another Met player...and Bonilla is still on the payroll...just sayin' guys

An absolute bomb 3 run homer.

Congrats to Conforto on his first MLB HR.

That blast really displayed how he has modeled his swing after KGJ's.

So far Colon very good. I take him out after 5 innings, 6 tops. Just having Cespedes in the lineup puts fear in opponents. The other day didn't the Nats walk him to pitch to Duda.
