there is no reason why this game should even be close. that said, i will probably take the browns and the points
Bowles on Fitzpatrick: “If pissed off is going to stop the turnovers, I’m more than happy to have him play pissed off.” #nyj
The best part of winning this game and climbing to 3-5 is watching some of my fellow TTG'ers climb back on the bus. At least long enough to claim they knew it all along.
It is pretty obvious that we aren't winning Superbowl this year. So I am not sure if I really want a win this weekend. I truly want Bowles stop trying to save his job while screwing us by not letting Petty play. I don't care about draft position as much as I care about to see what Petty can do. If a Browns win will get us closer to Petty, so be it.
The Jets D didn't give up a td last game. I think they can hold the Browns to under 17 points. Jets offense will score 20 or more, so in my opinion this is a Jets win. It may not be easy, but it's a win for the Jets.
I'm just amazed at how people are acting like this is a free win just because it's Cleveland. It's not like we've played much better lately. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Outside of their QB woe's, the Browns have really struggled on D (a defense that is giving up 30 points and 425 yards per game), especially with the run. We should see healthy doses of Forte and Powell. I'd really like to see Demario Davis burned on a screen/wheel route as someone else's defender now........They do have a nice rookie DE in Carl Nassib. Now that he's healthy, and with our banged up Oline, we need to keep an eye on that match up. Also worth noting, Joe Haden is once again catching the ire of his head coach for not playing. Hue Jackson (who also admitted he stopped calling offensive plays in the 4th quarter against the Bengles) kinda took a shot at Haden when he publicly praised Terrelle Pryor for playing with an injury. Mike Pettine actually called out Haden last year in the press for sitting out. My guess is Kevin Hogan will be starting at QB. Came in last week and ran for 100+ yards, but didn't look comfortable in the pocket. I can see our Dline causing him some trouble........ I'm actually going to this game and thinking most Cleveland fans will be focusing on the World Series game that night and wont mind my Namath jersey sitting near the Dawg Pound
haha yeah because nothing will inspire a bunch of fans to jump on the bandwagon like a win against 0-7 Cleveland
I hope Fitz and his attitude get us some wins for a change Its unbelieveable how Todd B can respond to players pissy rants but has no clue how to win game. His quote back to RF was probably the smartest pronouncement in months from him ....but who cares Not being on the same page with the HC is not going to help in the Red Zone ....but this is Cleveland so I will go out on a limb and say we get all the right calls from the refs for a 1 point win in a shocker
Fitz is terrible there's no reason to keep putting faith in him.. He's not average he's garbage. Been that way his whole career. Even last year he was pretty trash ranking near the bottom of most QB categories.. but our defense made his job easy with field position + Chris Ivory running wild.. and all the YAC yards we got.. lots of 50/50 balls that thankfully went our way too. I'll give Fitz credit as he was great in the red zone last year but that's about all he gets from me.. even though he's 32nd this year. lol just because he broke our records don't mean he did great.. just means our franchise as far as QB's go is pathetic
Can a team feed off of a city? The Defending Champion Cavs return tonight, the Indians are in the World Series, could that give the Browns some energy this Sunday?
Yikes. Yeah, I wouldn't say they honored him too well with their play on MNF. You are right, it probably does not play much of a role.
