The New York Jets finally made a big move in free agency as they acquired RB Thomas Jones from the Chicago Bears. The Gang Green gave Chicago their 37th overall draft pick in exchange for Jones and Chicago's 63rd overall draft pick.

Jones, an 8-year veteran, has played for the Cardinals, Bucs and Bears. He ran for over 1,000 yards in his last two seasons with Ciicago, averaging over 4.0 yards per carry.
