The New York Jets continue looking at prospects who have declared for the upcoming NFL Draft. They have scheduled a visit with DL Lawrence Jackson from USC and also attended his personal workout. Jackson, 6'4", 271 lbs, is projected to be drafted somewhere in the 2nd round. In his final season he recorded 17 tackles for loss, including 10.5 sacks.

Also, the Jets have announced their preseason opponents. In Week 1 of preseason the Gang Green will travel to Cleveland. Then in Week 2 the Jets will host the Washington Redskins. The final two preseason games will be against the Giants (home) and Philadelphia Eagles (away).

The NFL is expected to release full regular season schedule in the next few of weeks.
