Mark Sanchez stinks. There are no two ways around it. He stunk up the entire 2011 NFL regular season, and nobody can tell me any different.

    Jets Get Embarrassed In Philly

In what was another game of high hopes and expectations, another must win, the New York Jets laid yet another egg, getting thoroughly embarrassed by the Philadelphia Eagles, 45-19. Just like in Week 3, or just like in Week 9, when the Gang Green had to win to make a statement and take over the first place in the division, they just came out flat and got totally outclassed. This time the division lead wasn't on the line, as the Jets had lost any realistic hope for the division title a while ago, but the Gang Green could have solidified their Wild Card claims with a win in Philly, but it just wasn't to be.

Most Jet fans would love to be in the situation that the Patriots are in come Sunday. Of course that is the very achievable scenario of winning just one of the next three games to claim a division title and more importantly the potential for a bye week and even more important at least one game in front of your fans in the playoffs. Only somebody who owns stock in a defibrillator company would feel comfortable with the situation the Jets are facing. It certainly is a daunting task that remains ahead of the Jets but they know they control their own destiny which may or may not be a good thing.

McKnight will be back returning kickoffs where he was replaced last week by CB Antonio Cromartie. CB Marquice Cole will not play with a knee injury. He was injured during the Chiefs game, and returned to the game but has not practiced with the team this week.

This week the Jets are traveling to the City of Brotherly Love to play the 5-8 Philadelphia Eagles with a clear objective - win and stay in front of the race for the final Wild Card spot. To achieve this objective the Jets must try and stop one of the league’s most potent offenses. The Eagles have dealt with injuries to their star quarterback, injuries to their receiving core and a bout with diva wide receiver. At times they have shown their potential to be an explosive offense gaining over 400 yards in 7 games this season. But frequently they have shown to be ineffective and mistake prone – ranking 30th in turnover ratio and last in the NFL in INTs thrown.
