  Jets to Open Preseason Against Detroit

  The New York Jets will open the 2013 preseason on the road against the Detroit Lions, which will be their only preseason game away from Metlife Stadium. In preseason week 2 the Gang Green will host the Jacksonville Jaguars, following by the annual preseason game against the New York Giants. In the final preseason week the Jets will host the Eagles.

  Jets vs. Jaguars Final Injury Report And Game Notes

  MLB David Harris, WR Santonio Holmes and S Eric Smith were all limited in practice this week but are expected to play on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Harris, who's been nursing a toe injury all week, dressed for practice today and went through individual drills, but as soon as the team portion of practice began, he headed off to the side to work with the strength and conditioning staff. Holmes and Smith both participated in practice during the portion open to the media.

  Jets Suffer Another Last Minute Loss

  The New York Jets suffered another heartbreaking loss this afternoon, as they fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars on a last-second field goal, 22-24. The Gang Green had their chances to win this game, but ultimately just failed to make plays when they had to.
