According to ESPN, PK Jay Feely is expected to sigh a 2-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals where he will join another former Jet, S Kerry Rhodes. Feely's departure will leave the Jets with only PK Nick Folk, who was signed by the team on February 23. Folk was cut by the Cowboys in Week 15 last season after converting just 18 of 28 field goal attempts.

The New York Jets have signed former Dallas Cowboys PK Nick Folk. who make the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2007. The Gang Green signed him to a league minimum one-year deal.
The New York Jets played basically a mistake free game, as they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals on the road, 24-14, and are through to the Divisional Playoffs. Both rookies, QB Mark Sanchez and RB Shonn Greene, played pivotal roles in this great win. Sanchez, battling both single degree wind chills and playoff pressure, performed admirably. He completed 12 of 15 passes for 182 yards, 1 TD and 0 INT. He became the first rookie quarterback who completed over 70% of his passes in a playoff game. Greene ran for 135 yards on 21 carries (6.4 yards per carry) and scored the first Jets' touchdown on a 39-yard run in the second quarter.

The Jets are leading Tampa Bay 19-0 at halftime, as the defense completely dominated the first half. The Gang Green limited the struggling Buccaneers to just 15 total yards and no first downs. MLB David Harris had an interception on the first play from scrimmage that led to a Jets' field goal.
Following two subpar performances in the previous couple of weeks, the New York Jets stepped up to the plate as they faced the AFC East leading Buffalo Bills. This was a "make it or break it game" and the Gang Green passed the test, beating one of their archrivals 26-17. This win put the Jets in a 3-team tie with the Bills and the Patriots, but with the best division record the Gang Green are in the first place.
QB Brett Favre shrugged off three interceptions and led the New York Jets on a late fourth quarter comeback against the Kansas City Chiefs, as the Gang Green struggled against one of the worst NFL teams for the second week in a row.
If you have been a fan of this team long enough, today's loss against the Raiders really should not come as a big surprise. This is exactly the kind of game that the New York Jets have always had a tendency of losing. The Same Old Jets!!!

The New York Jets did not play particularly well coming off a bye week, but their effort turned out to be enough to beat the winless Cincinnati Bengals, 26-14. The Gang Green improved to 3-2 and are now 3-0 in games immediately following a bye under coach Eric Mangini.
