Earlier today RB Curtis Martin, the Jets' all-time leading rusher, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Martin became the third player who played most and best years of his career for the New York Jets to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, QB Joe Namath and WR Don Maynard being the other two. Martin ran for 14,101 yards over the course of his 11-year career, placing him fourth on the NFL all-time list. He's also one of the only two running backs to start his NFL career with 10 straight 1000-yard seasons.

QB Brett Favre was selected as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 4 of the 2008 NFL Regular Season.In his 257th consecutive start as an NFL quarterback, Favre posted a career-high six touchdown passes as the Jets defeated the Arizona Cardinals 56-35. He completed 24 of 34 passes (70.6 percent) for 289 yards with six touchdowns versus one interception and a 123.7 passer rating. Favre’s six touchdown passes tie Pro Football Hall of Famer Joe Namath (6 at Baltimore Colts on 9/24/72) for most touchdowns by a Jets quarterback.
