Jets look dominant in huge win over Pats

A mood of complacency filled Metlife Stadium as offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg settled for 3 straight runs to set the Jets up with a 56 yard field goal attempt in overtime to beat the long time rival Patriots. Everyone and their mother seemed to know that Nick Folk would go on to miss the field goal, which he did, although an unsportsmanlike penalty flag was thrown on Patriots defender Chris Jones for pushing his opponent into the line, a newfound flag this year that was called for the first time on Sunday.

While the run defense continues to be stifling, the New York Jets continue their inconsistency in the 2013 season with an ugly loss versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team who always seems to have the Jets number. The Geno Smith lead New York Jets barely lost to the New England Patriots for the fifth straight time in the past two and a quarter seasons. Jets Hire David Lee As QB Coach

Two days after naming the new GM and hiring Marty Mornhinweg to lead the offense, the Jets brought in former Bills QB coach David Lee to coach the Gang Green's quarterbacks. Lee was also a quarterbacks coach in Miami under recently fired Tony Sparano. The Jets are replacing Matt Cavanaugh, who has been with the team since 2009, the only QB coach QB Mark Sanchez had since being drafted. This is quite an interesting hire, considering that QB Tim Tebow is supposed to be on his way out and Lee is known as one of the pioneers of the Wildcat offense.
