Some things in life never change. The sky is blue, the grass is green, and the Jets find ways to make children (and sometimes grown men) cry. Well it seems that one of those three things is changing as you read. Only time will tell whether this is for real or if it’s a façade like an Indian Summer.

If last week in New Orleans it was QB Mark Sanchez' time to get back to earth, last night in Miami it was the heralded Jets' defense that lost the game for the Gang Green. The unit that many thought was among the league's elite got totally embarrassed by Miami's wildcat offense and 2nd year quarterback Chad Henne whom, as Rex Ryan put it after the game, the Jets' defense "made look like Dan Marino."

What an embarrassing loss! One of the most disgusting losses in recent memory... Just when we, Jets fans, began believing in Rex Ryan's defense, they produced a total stinker in Miami, losing 27-31 to the Dolphins. No, it wasn't QB Mark Sanchez making mistakes that cost us this game, it wasn't fumbles or interceptions, it was the heralded Jets' defense that, we thought, was one of the best in the league. Boy, were we wrong! This defense got manhandled by Miami's wildcat offense and their 2nd year quarterback with basically no pro experience.
The New York Jets took a 13-10 lead right before halftime as PK Jay Feely converted his 22nd field goal attempt in a row. Recently acquired WR Braylon Edwards scored the only Jet's touchdown - a 3-yard pass from QB Mark Sanchez.
