The New York Jets defeated the Tennessee Titans, 24-17, and improved to 3-0, marking their best start since 2004 when the Gang Green began the season 5-0. Unlike in the previous two games, however, there were quite a few alarming signs that definitely should be addressed this week in preparation for the New Orleans Saints. While the Jets were clear winners against Houston and New England, let's be honest and admit that yesterday's game could have easily gone either way.
The New York Jets improved to 3-0 as they defeated the Tennessee Titans, 24-17, in what seemed like a roller coaster where the Gang Green made big plays when they needed them. The Jets are 3-0 for the first time since 2004 when they started the season 5-0 under head coach Herman Edwards.

The New York Jets will play their first AFL legacy game this season, as they take on the Tennessee Titans tomorrow in Giants Stadium. Both teams will be wearing their original AFL franchise uniforms of 1960. Tennessee leads regular season series between the teams, 21-16-1. Interestingly, the Titans of New York (the original name of the Jets) never beat the Houston Oilers (the original name of the Titans) - they lost all 6 games to the Oilers in 1960-1962.
