The New York Jets waived WR Brian Scott and OT Michael Curry. The team also signed WR Jerris Evans. Evans is 5'11", 187 lbs, rookie from Missouri Western, he was waived in June by the Chicago Bears.
In other news, OG Randy Thomas had to sit out today's practice due to a sore shoulder. QB Vinny Testaverde might miss from a few days to a couple of weeks.
