Braylon Edwards Practices With Jets

The newest Jets' acquisition, WR Braylon Edwards, practiced with the Gang Green for the first time this morning. He wore a white #17 jersey and caught passes from rookie QB Mark Sanchez, as well as backups QB Erik Ainge and QB Kevin O'Connell. Edwards is expected to start opposite WR Jerricho Cotchery on Monday Night against the Miami Dolphins.

OT Damien Woody (ankle) and CB Donald Strickland (ankle) missed practice session again. Woody is expected to be ready for Monday, while Strickland will most likely miss another week. CB Lito Sheppard (quad) practiced again and looked fine. He'll start against the Dolphins.
