Injuries

Cotchery and Smith will not play against Raiders

Admin - October 23, 2009

Both WR Jerricho Cotchery and WR Brad Smith will miss Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders due to hamstring and quadriceps injuries respectively. While Cotchery will most likely be ready for the Dolphins next week, Brad Smith could be out next week as well, according to head coach Rex Ryan. WR David Clowney will make his second start in a row, replacing Cotchery in the starting lineup. CB Lito Sheppard, who returned last week after missing the previous three games and reaggravated his quadriceps injury, will not play on Sunday as well.

OT Damien Woody (knee) and CB Donald Strickland (ankle) are questionable but Ryan thinks they will play. WR Braylon Edwards (quadriceps) and DE Shaun Ellis (knee) fully participated in practice today.

We'll have the official injury report later today.
