Jets Regular Season

Jets defense looks helpless in first half

Admin - November 15, 2009

After al this talk about going to the playoffs despite starting the season 4-4 and today's game being a must win, the Jets defense simply forgot to show up this afternoon. They have already allowed 3 touchdowns and 250 yards against Jacksonville, proving once again that a lot of talking doesn't translate into results on the field.

QB Mark Sanchez has looked subpar, completing just 6 of his 14 passes, 1 INT, 1 TD. RB Thomas Jones has looked good running the football (4.5 yards per carry), but has gotten only 10 carries in the first half. TE Dustin Keller has the team high 4 catches, while WR Braylon Edwards is yet to see a single pass thrown in his direction.

The Jets are down 21-13 at the half and have to make some serious adjustments on both sides to have a chance in this game.
