Jets continue falling in power rankings

Admin - November 24, 2009

Following their 6 loss in the last 7 games, the New York Jets fell even deeper in power rankings on the top three sports websites. ESPN had them down one spot (from #21 to #22). FOX Sports also had them one spot down (from #20 to #21). Finally, CBS Sports lowered the Jets' stock by two points (from #18 to #20).

Here's what the top 3 websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN:  Rex Ryan, a defensive master, is turning his attention to the offense to reduce Mark Sanchez's interceptions.

FOX Sports: Are Jets fans starting to turn on Mark "Sanchise" already? That would be crazy. After all, he is still just a rookie. But it's understandable in the sense that the Jets have driven their fans crazy for years, and they're doing it again after choking away a 3-0 start by losing six of seven games (including four by a touchdown or less).

CBS Sports: Mark Sanchez is playing like a rookie. But it doesn't mean he should sit down. He needs to grow and playing is the right way.
