QB Mark Sanchez's excellent performance against the Miami Dolphins did not go unnoticed, as the second year pro is among the finalists for this week's FedEx Air Player of the Week. Sanchez completed 15 of 28 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns in the Jets' 31-23 win over the Dolphins, propelling them into the first place in AFC East.
The other two finalists are QB Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts and QB Michael Vick of the Philadelphia Eagles. Manning completed 27 of 43 passes for 325 yards and three touchdowns to help the Colts win at Denver, 27-13. Vick completed 17 of 31 passes for 291 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles' 28-3 win over the Jaguars.
