Jets fall again after another loss

Admin - December 14, 2010

Things have surely changed for the Gang Green in just two weeks, as once a top 3 lock in power rankings now find themsevles barely in the top 10. The team that was looking at the possibility of having home-field advantage throughout the playoffs might not even make it to the postseason at all if they continue playing as poorly as they did in the last two games. Following the loss against the Miami Dolphins, ESPN lowered the Jets' stock from #6 to #9. FOX Sports dropped them from #9 to #10. Finally, CBS Sports now has the Jets at #9 (down from #5 last week).

Here's what the top 3 websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN:  The Jets still might make the playoffs, but opponents have figured out the Jets' defense and QB Mark Sanchez.

FOX Sports: Until the coaches can get Mark Sanchez back on the right track, it's going to be hard for this team to win consistently. But for them to be a better team, the foundation of the offense must start with the running game, not with the second-year signal caller.

CBS Sports: If they don't get the offense going, they will be sitting home for the playoffs. That won't be easy against the Steelers this week and then the Bears the following week.
