Jets Barely Up In Power Rankings After Beating Chargers

Well, the "experts" didn't seem to be too impressed with the Jets again this week, as they barely moved the Gang Green up after their impressive comeback victory against the San Diego Chargers. ESPN was the most generous one, moving the Jets up from #16 to #13. Brian Billick of FOX Sports thought that the win wasn't worth more than one spot, as he moved the Jets up from #14 to #13. Finally, Pete Prisco of CBS Sports, kept the Jets exactly where they were a week ago - at #20. At least he didn't drop them even lower...

Here's what the top 3 websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN:  WR Plaxico Burress, 34, found the fountain of youth with three TD catches in Week 7.

FOX Sports: In the next month, New York has a chance to do some major damage within the division. They have two games against the Bills and a rematch with the Patriots. In order to win those games, they are going to have to find a way to generate pressure without bringing six and seven men.

CBS Sports: Their season looked to be in big trouble before the fourth-quarter rally against the Chargers. Now they get a week off before a big one with the Bills.
