The New York Jets are set to open their preseason against the Bengals in Cincinnati, according to the Preseason schedule that was released earlier today. There's no set date yet but the game will take place between August 9th and August 13th. In Week 2 the Gang Green will play against their crosstown rivals, the New York Giants. Then, in Week 3 the Jets will host the Carolina Panthers on August 26th. Finally, in Week 4 the Jets will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles.
The home game against the Panthers will be nationally televised on NBC's Sunday Night Football, the fourth year in a row the Jets will play a nationally televised preseason game.
The regular season schedule will be released later this month.
