Power rankings: Jets crack top 10 after beating Jags

Admin - November 11, 2015

Following their win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Jets made their way back into the top 10 in two out of five power rankings. FOX Sports placed the Gang Green at #8 (up from #14 last week), while CBS Sports had them at #9 (up from #12 last week). Both ESPN and Yahoo Sports moved the Jets just one spot up compared to last week and positioned them at #11 and #12 respectively. Finally, Pro Football Talk kept Todd Bowles' team at #12, right where they had them the week before.

Here's what the power rankings websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN: The Jets need Chris Ivory to get past his recent injuries. Ivory has 84 yards on 55 rushes (1.53 yards per rush) in the Jets' past three games.

FOX Sports: Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie, who is now banged up, has allowed the second-most touchdowns (six) at his position and an opposing quarterbacks have a rating of 135.3 when they throw his way, per Pro Football Focus.

CBS Sports: At. 5-3, they have a chance to take a real lead in the AFC wild-card race if they can beat the Bills Thursday night.

ProFootballTalk: Maybe the Jets, not the Bills, should make IK Enemkpali a captain on Thursday night.

Yahoo Sports: Weirdest stat line of the NFL season: Chris Ivory with his 26 yards on 23 carries ... and two touchdowns. Can't imagine we'll see a stranger one the rest of this year either.
