New York Jets odds and fixtures for 2021/2022 football season

Admin - November 8, 2021

As we reach the halfway point of the season, we sum up the odds on the New York Jets.

It's been an eventful year in football, to say the least, and we are halfway to the playoffs, so the time is running out to make some money betting on this high octane sport.

Sports betting in Virginia, as well as many other states, are at an all-time high since the resumption of sports this year, and with the end of the season fast approaching, punters' eyes are set on Super Bowl LVI.

Despite the Jets not having a strong season so far, there's still plenty of chances to win big off this team before the season ends, and there is still loads up for grabs.

In this article, we will give you a run-through of everything you need to know about betting on the New York Jets including how they stand in the bookies and which upcoming games might be good to bet on.

NFL Champions

Currently, the odds of the Jets winning the NFL season are pretty low; they are currently 27th out of a 32 team league. With odds of winning stacked at +50,000, the only teams lower are the Miami Dolphins, the Washington Football Team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Detroit Lions and the Houston Texans.

This was not helped by their loss last night to the Indianapolis Colts. Due to their current standing in their AFC group, it doesn't look much like the Jets are going to see the Super Bowl, or even make it into the playoffs.

AFC Championship

Looking at the points and standings in the AFC groups, we see that the Jets also aren't doing too well here. With only 2 wins and -107 points, they are the 2nd lowest team in the league by points.

Odds for the Jets to win the AFC championship are currently sitting at +40,000. The only teams lower than this are the Jacksonville Jaguars with odds of +100,000 and the Houston Texans with odds of +250,000 stacked against them.

It looks, again, like the Jets are far from favorites to win this championship. However, with half of the games in the season still to go, the Jets do still have a chance to make a miracle recovery.

AFC East

Out of the 4 teams in this division, the Jets sit at 3rd with odds of +25,000. This reflects their position at 3rd place in the group.

While these odds are better than their chances to win the other 2 trophies, with the Buffalo Bills currently dominating this group it doesn't leave much hope for the Jets to recover and take first place.

Games To Look Out For

Despite being in a bad position, the next few weeks hold some good chances for the Jets to regain some points.

In 2 weeks, week 11, the Jets play the Dolphins, the only team lower than the Jets in their division, so this could be an interesting game and a chance to win some money.

The week after, in week 12, the Jets play the Texans, one of the few teams to only win 1 game this season and the only team with fewer points than the Jets. This is going to be one to watch.

Shortly after, in week 15, the Jets play the Dolphins again. If the Jets manage to win their next matchup in week 11, it should give them the drive to win this one too.

Finally, in week 16, the Jets play the Jaguars - also one of the few teams to only win 1 game so far. This would be another one to consider placing a wager on when the time comes.
