This is it! Forget all those games we've played this season, because they don't matter now. This season starts now. If we are considering ourselves champions our destiny awaits us. Consider us 0-0 with a seven game season starting from thursday. This here is our test. How will we respond? So far we have went 6-3 this (preseason). Now it's time for the season to begin. @ New England @Tennesee Denver San Francisco Buffalo @Seattle Miami
@ New England - win @Tennesee - win Denver - win San Francisco - win Buffalo - win @Seattle - win Miami - loss on a 90 yrd chad hail mary
realistically, i see us going 5-2 putting us at 11-5 and easily in the playoffs, but if we play like we did today, can you say 13-3?
realistically we could easily lose the next 3 games. but that's the hardest stretch of the season for us so if we can pull out 2 or 3 wins there then things will be lookin good for us
Last 5 are very winnable...a 1-1 split for the next two and 12-4 isn't out of the question. 11-5 or 10 -6 is very probable though. As long as we're hot going into the POs, we're good.
I really hope so. I'm trying not to get overly excited about this win, because the Rams are crap. Don't need these guys coming out on the field thinking its going to be a cake-walk.
Hopefully Shotty doesn't try to get too cute with the game plan given all the extra time he has to prepare.
To be honest, I think it would've been better to have more time to prepare against NE than Tennessee. Regardless, the pessimist side of me still sees the Jets finishing 3-4 in the remaining games.

you really think we 'should' beat Tenn.? I mean we could, but we'd definitely be coming in as the under dogs when we play them. I would imagine we're the underdogs against NE too..
2 gimmes - SF, Seattle 3 should-wins - Denver, Buffalo, Miami (all are at home) 2 could-wins - NE, Ten Everything comes down to the next two games, IMO. If we win the next two, we pretty much run the table. 13-3 should be enough for the #2 seed, maybe even #1 if TEN stumbles after a loss to us. If we win against NE but lose to TEN, we'll win the east with probably 11-5 or 12-4 record. It'll be hard for NE to catch up on tie-breakers since we'll have a better division record. It'll be even harder for buffalo and miami since we beat them once already and beating them a second time guarantees that. If we lose against NE but win against TEN, we'll probably get the wild card with around a 10-6, 11-5 record. It'll be hard to overcome NE with 2 losses to them. If we lose both, we'll need to run the table to sniff the playoffs. 10-6 probably doesn't get us in as Pittsburgh, Baltimore and even Indianapolis will all finish at least with records that are 10-6 or better.
