Sorry but i watched it over at least 50 times and the second the ball hits his hands his right foot lifts off the ground. How the Morons reviewing it did not see it is incredible. I was even able to stop it on the exact frame where ball hit his hands and it is totally obvious. Thank god we won or I would still be going apeshit
Yeah man, that play was really really really close. As close as it could be. I think if the play was ruled an incomplete pass it may have stayed incomplete because there was not inconclusive evidence to overturn it. But since it was ruled a td it stayed a td.
Nah, it was too close to call. Whatever the refs called on the field, there wouldnt have been evidence to overturn it. If it was initially called an incompletion, I think it would have stayed that way. But, the ref should not overturned it...certainly no indesputable evidence
I wish you guys were at my house and look at what I am looking at. 52 inch plasma stopped right when he touches the ball. His foot is at least 2 inches off the ground
Even if he did lift his right foot. (I don't see it.) He gets his left knee down in bounds. 1 knee = 2 feet. TD. Now, on the play there was a ton of PI on both parties. Law holding Moss and Moss pushing off.
Clearly a TD. And we have no reason to bitch about officiating since the most controversial call in the game (PI against Vrabel) went in our favor.
I dont think his foot was down either.Ths still frame is not the proper view on film his momentum carries him out and his foot lifts up off the grass. He needs to have possession of the ball while keeping both feet in bounds.
the ball is in his hands, his feet are on the ground, what more do you want? if you want to get into the whole when does possession happen thing we might as well talk about when life begins. it was called a td on the field, it was not obvious that the call was wrong so the call stands. this is what replay does, everything is so fine now.
The replay outcome proves nothing. Its basically a judgement call as far as im concerned GAME OVER we WON.Its an irrelevant discussion at this point and time...........
Foot came up after he had the ball, and I thought that before I saw the picture in this thread.....and dude, EVERYBODY has big HDTVs.
If you merely can't be sure, and don't have any proof, then the refs handled exactly correctly. They reviewed it because it was close, but left is standing because they could not be sure. As someone else already said: case closed. There's enough calls where they clearly got it wrong that I don't see the point of dwelling on a definite judgment call that could have gone either way, and was handled completely correctly in deciding which way it would go.
