What your guys opinion of the Over/Under of 40.0 points? Also New England are the dogs against Miami apparently?
I'm very hit and miss on o/u. The Titans allow the league's fewest points. The Jets are right around average in points allowed. The Titans don't score much. The Jets score alot. Mangini likes to sit on leads. If he gets ahead I don't see the Jets being aggressive on offense for fear of actually winning, errrr for fear of turnovers. That adds up to a low scoring game to me. The high scoring scenario(s) are: If the Titans go up early, the Jets may be forced to pass and will either score or allow the other team to score on a turnover leading to six or a short field. The Jets o-line dominates the line of scrimmage leading to 100+ yards for TJ+LW. The Jets D pick Collins off a time or two for great field position. This one seems like too much to hope for right now.
This kills me to say this; Take the under, give the 5.5. (If it changes to +7, take the points) Collins is getting hot. This will end up being about each team's CS.
BetUS now has it at Jets +4.5 with an o/u of 40.5. Miami has moved a half point to -2. Bal is a 1 point favorite of the philthy birds. Buf is only a 3 point favorite over KC. Pit is holding pretty steady around -11.
