Dustin has come alive the past 3 games and i really think he's become Favre's go to guy. it seems like he comes through w/ a big catch nearly every 3rd down. And today he was a monster with YAC.

His only dropped pass was that TD(can't even remember the game). As long as he keeps catching everything thrown his way, it will open up the field for our wideouts, which we have seen the past few games.

The first half against NE was the dropped TD

The Titans were trying to hold onto him all day...I guess Dustin's mentality that he can't be covered held up today.

He's definitely helped open things up for Brett.

Keller has been one of the mvps of the last 2 big wins, with his clutch catches, Nice to see an early draft pick playing well.

his stats dont show the number of penalties committed against him due to him being nearly uncoverable....this makes him even more valuable then the stats show

his blocking can be coached..his natural ability to fight for every yard and the awareness of the sideline/firstdown/goalline cant be coached

I can't believe the talent we got with this kid. What a find! Another brilliant move by Tannenbaum.

I was one of the assholes who attended the draft who booed the Keller pick.

    I'm sorry, Dustin. =[

I never want to see Chris Baker on the field again unless its solely for blocking purposes.

You're now officially banned from the draft for life.

Kind of off topic but not really, remember when Mario Williams came out with all the hype? But it was Houston's 2nd First Rd.(I think) pick who was the one who was the force their rookie year. Can't think of his name. Maybe we will reap the same rewards with Gholston.

I was going to make a HUGE thread on Dustin, but I don't have 50 posts yet. I'll make a smallish post in here:

For years, it was the Jets/Bills/Phins drafting, to beat the PATS. 'They got Moss, we need a good CB to cover him. They got Welker, we need a quick safety to beat him. They got Thomas, we need to strengthen our line or get a good blocking TE.'

But now, teams will be drafting to beat US. It started with Leon, now it is going to Dustin Keller. Every team will have to look for a fast LB to keep up with him ,or a strong enough S to defend him. By the time they do get that weapon, we will have another threat they need to draft against. We will soon be the force in the East

Yeah, pretty good point. We're no longer playing catch up... now everybody else in our division will be playing catch up to us to combat the talent Tanny keeps digging up.

I think his emergence has made this offense what it is now. You now have to watch him and that opens everything up. He is showing signs of how great he can be. Hard to cover that is for sure.
