Favre about his adjustment to playing for Jets

I know many of you have this irrational (IMO) hatred of Peter King & everything he writes, but if you could just let go of that for a minute you might realize he has a lot of exclusive content, especially when it comes to Favre. No one has better access to him than King. So, this is worth reading (I looked to see if it was posted yet, surprised not to find it):

well for now at least, the road to the super bowl goes through tennesee, so he's right, that we may play them again.

as a side note, even though yesterday didnt show it, the titans are actually a GOOD team. They are a good team, even if it was all capitalizing on a weak schedule, they still got to 10-0. They will be a dangerous team to play in the playoffs if that defense gets healthy.

SO here's to hoping Tennesee loses out and fails to make the postseason. so we can have the 1 seed to ourselves.

I would be surprised if the Tits went undefeated the rest of the way. They had a soft schedule.

Yeah, the Titans are good - but, for all the people who want to say how far the Jets have come this year - remember most of us had the Titans as a W at the start of this year.. Not, many people predicted the Titans to be one of the best teams, they too have come a long way...

But, a lot in this league has to do with Staying healthy and your schedule..

The Titans are good but, not THAT good.... Overlal it's a down year in the NFL and parity is king.

I believe their final two games are against Pittsburgh and at the Colts. Indy is playing better in recent weeks. Those two games are by no means soft.

Those are the two games I can easily see them losing, particularly since Pittsburgh and Indianapolis will probably be jockeying for playoff position at the time. That's why the Jets actually do have a shot at a bye or even the #1 seed, since if both teams were 13-3, obviously the Jets get the tie-breaker and they get a bye, no matter what Pittsburgh does. If the Jets lose a game among the next three, however, it will be time to root for Tennessee against Pittsburgh.

A nice article by King, untainted by his usual Pats*/Brady/Belly/Kraft/Cassel ballwashing.

    Thanks for posting.

What the 'exclusive' in this article? I'm glad there wasn't the usual Jet bashing BS, but he basically regurgitated everything we already knew.

I thought it was obvious. It's exclusive because they talk on the phone one-on-one. Unless you know of someone bugging their line.

""A change like that would have been tough on a 22-year-old. As a matter of fact, after I reached the agreement with the Jets, we were in the plane coming up to New Jersey and I thought, Oh no! What am I doing? I'm making a big mistake."

He changes his mind like he's a woman and shit.

Even King can't bash us after that win. I still would love to punch him in the mouth though.

IMO, if it were possible for Minn to offer him the starting QB job next year he'd leave in a NY minute.

Not any more. First, now tht he's here, he likes the team here. That's genuine. Second, there's a good chance Childress will be gone from Minny next year unless they really turn things around. There goes that personal connection. Third, I think he's decided the Jets may be a better team than the Queens after all. The D there is fading, and opponents have figured out how to contain Peterson, reducing the offensive firepower.

Finally, I think he really means it when he says he does not give a rats ass about revenge any more.

With a good QB the Vikings would be 8-3 at least. Also Favre's connection is with their O-Coordinator Darrell Bevell not Childress (who is probably equally as bad as their QB's).
