1. I always piss off the back deck when I let the dog out. 2. Spotlighting deer is illegal in NJ, but I'll gladly pay Favre's fine if that's what he needs to relax after a big win!
I thought this was a football forum and not a "let's all go green, save bambi, save the planet, and sing kumbiya" forum. Who cares what Favre's personal hobbies are. I'm sure that in his interview, Mangini didn't ask him what he does in his free time.
Actually, hunting is one of the key components to controlling an species of animals population during certain parts of the year. If hunting were made illegal, various species would severely surpass that environments carrying capacity, thus causing a large amount of competition, and causing many animals to be without shelter or food. So long as he's adhering to that particular areas restrictions on what he can and cannot shoot, I don't see a problem with it.
If you eat meat, then you are a hypocrite. Killing and eating an animal yourself is infinitely more respectable than hiring a farmhand/assassin to do it for you.
I think you need to learn to separate New Yorkers from those who are obsessed with gun control.... Some of you rural jerkoffs need to stop grouping everyone who lives in New York or other cities together. edit: if my post sounds a bit bitchy, it's just cause I was paraphrasing your post....
dude, what is the matter with you? get in on that shit. Marry the girl and then have Farve as a father. Dude i dont care how stupid the girl is, go make favre your dad! tell him your an avid jets fan, he'll love ya.
Just a good ol boy Never mean any harm Beats all you ever saw Been in trouble with law since the day he was born Just makin his way the only way he knows how Thats just a little bit more then the law will allow The Dukes of Hazzard theme song started in my head when I read this. Favre is just the coolest QB the Jets have had in my life time.
Wow, is there an ignore poster function? Try losing some respect for yourself for eating McDonald's or Chic-fil-A first.
Some of us rural jerkoffs are tired of being called honkeys or cousin fuckers. Or...rural jerkoffs? Wake up and smell the 21st century. So everyone on this site isn't this guy?
for the Bambi lovers out there. In Wisconsin (and many other parts of the country) deer are overpopulated. If there weren't hunters, more people (and deer) would die in horrible car accidents involving deer. I've hit a deer before and it wasn't pretty - lucky I came out of it alive as the antlers came through the windshield. Why again are we talking about this?
i heard brett has a clause in his contract forbidding him climbing more than 10 feet off the ground to a tree stand, and can only use rubber bullets or he can use an elephant gun that fires bean bags. the first time he bagged a dear he had keller drag it out of the woods for him. rookie.
Geez its my opinion. I dont have to respect this crap, and thats my opinion. So whats it to you? Did I not bow down and worship every move our competent journymen QB makes? And for those calling me a hypocrit like I am some kind of animal activist, try reading my last post and understanding it.
yea im not a personal fan of hunting either, never really felt it was quite fair but whatever, this is a football forum. That favre video is quite hilarious. (fuck yea, fuck yea!) What a win, just wish they didnt have to take 3 years off my life in the process of winning.
i guess it just seems a bit silly with a gun and all. Its not even like its man versus wild really, its technology dominating nature i suppose. Do what you will it just seems kind of stupid to me. But once again, dont really want to stir shit over hunting, I dont really care enough.
I've never hunted before actually. I think it would be kinda boring honestly but still cool if you actually got something. I go fishing though and I'd much rather eat the fish I catch than buy fish from a store. I'm sure they feel the same about deer or whatever they hunt.
"For what it's worth, there's probably a lot of things that are considered normal in NY that people here would not have a lot of respect for. Lots of people (women and men) may be "mean" to deer here, but they are usually very nice to each other." In NY we consider endlessly lecturing people about their supposed faults to be rude.
