I know I might catch crap for this thread, but do we make a move on one of the two? I would make a move for Quinn if they are willing to deal him. Even if Favre plays one more year it would make sense. We can bring his buddy Crennell along with him!!!!

I wouldn?t deal any if I?m the Brownies. Both have several years left on their contracts, and they still don?t know what Quinn is. And If I?d deal one it would definitly be Anderson, but it will be a hard task finding someon who?s willing to take over his contact + give up a high draftpick for him.

Quinn - Yeah, I?d take him
    Anderson - Hell no!

They both suck. I'd rather take my chances with Clemens or Ratliff.

Out of the two I would take Derek Anderson. But I really doubt the Browns are going to deal either one.

Umm, Quinn's year is now done, thanks to a broken index finger he continued to play with, and may now have ligament damage.

Anderson isn't nearly as good as last year's luck might have led you to believe.

I'll stick with hoping Favre can be convinced to return next year, and Clemens and Ratliff being prepared to take over.

No on Anderson. He's wildly inconsistant.

Quinn is going no where. He's the future of the Browns at QB and the face of the franchise. No way they trade the golden boy QB before he proves he's crap.

The play around Anderson this year was inconsistent. It wasn't all on him. He had no Winslow for a few games, Braylon Edwards dropped a ridiculous amount of passes and their running game wasn't as effective as it was last year.

Is there no draft next year?

Brett will be back, always wanted to say this....write it down.
Ratty will fight it out for 2nd string with KC next TC and lose out, mainly due to KC being as thick as a bag of chips, hey kidder, stick to ranching

KC goes to Hollywood and makes a movie, ironically cast as Brett Favre, but they have to get in a stunt double to do the 5 WR sets as the script is still just a bit too much.

CASSELL ANYONE? I know a Patriot and god forbid but it would be INCREDIBLE to have him kick there ass for us twice a year. The jury is still out on Cassell but he is having an insane stretch right now.

I think our future is on the team right now. Ratliff.
Say what you want about this guy only playing in a few pre season games, bla bla bla...
Guys like Flacco, and Ryan, are showing you don't need to sit on the sidelines for 3 or 4 years, before your ready to play. Some guys can just flat out play.
Imo, Ratliff shows the traits of a good QB. Poise in the pocket, reads defenses pretty well, doesn't force the ball,Seems to be able to make all the throws, and his size is awesome!
I say let Clemens and Ratliff play it out in TC. I know Ratliff will come out on top.

We have the best Jets team since at least 1998 and we are talking about next season? Am I missing something here?

That's how teams stay on top. You have to do 10 things at once.
Remember, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

I'd take Quinn if they actually want to make him available.

    I wouldn't touch Anderson with a 10 foot pole.

I don't think we need either, but if I were to pick, I'd go for Quinn. Anderson loves staring down his receivers and getting sacked.
