1. New York Jets 2. Pittsburgh Steelers 3. Indianapolis Colts 4. Tennessee Titans 5. Baltimore Ravens 6. New England Patriots 7. Denver Broncos 8. Miami Dolphins
Well, they also beat the Jets and the Fins. Regardless, that's just my opinion - that's all it's based on.
The QB is playing pretty good. The RBs are good. The FB is Lorenzo Neal and he's always good. The offensive line is good. Derrick Mason is playing very well this year. I suppose you could make a case that this Ravens offense is better than any they had under Brian Billick. The Ravens and Steelers both might finish 11-5 and the Steelers will probably win the tiebreaker due to a better conference mark. Therefore, should the Jets win the AFC East and get the 4 seed, they very well may face the Ravens in the 4-5 game on Wild Card weekend. More likely, the Jets would get the 2 or 3 seed. If the 3, they would likely face a 10-6 team which I'm thinking could be NE or Miami, but it could be Baltimore. Ehh nevermind, it's too early to call.
someone had to. I still think we can and should beat every team in the AFC on any given sunday. I had a bad feeling about yesterday with the weather and the Jets riding too high. Plus every now and then, Cutler has an amazing day. We just dont match up too well against a passing team, especially in such slimy conditions...because we cant come back for the quick strikes if we are down a few scores. We need to put together a methodical drive. In a sense, the rain yesterday made it seem like we were playing on offense with Pennington back there. We couldnt score fast if we wanted to, all side from the TJ run of course.
Jets and Tennesee tied 2 i know it will be tough to get 2 seed though Pitt could lose two. if we do some how get it I see us making he Super Bowl I really do. 3 seed - could be one and done or 2 or maybe we end up in championship game anyway
Here are my rankings. 1. Pittsburgh 2. Indy 3. Titans 4. Jets 5. Baltimore 6. Patriots 7. Denver 8. Miami
Well, I completely agree that the Jets are as talented as any other team in the AFC and have as good a shot as anyone of representing the AFC in the Superbowl.
Mine: Pittsburgh Steelers New York Jets Indianapolis Colts Tennessee Titans Denver Broncos Baltimore Ravens New England Patriots Miami Dolphins I think we're clearly in the Top-3 in the East, and maybe even the Top team. The Steelers offense is well below average, but their defense is unbelievable. Indianapolis scares me in a playoff game, as I think Manning could pick apart Lowery/Law/Elam. I think it'll be the Jets/Steelers against the Giants/Cowboys. Edit: It confuses me how someone could say the Titans are better than us. We dominated them, and match up extremely well with them. If we stop their run like we did, they have little chance to beat us. Pittsburgh and maybe the Colts are the only teams that could be placed above us. I think we'll get that 2 seed as Pittsburgh has an extremely tough schedule.
Right now 1. Pittsburgh Steelers: This team has it together. They have all been in the same system together and it shows. When Ben is on he's on and when he's in a funk he's terrible. 2. Tennessee Titian's: still have the fire power and the record to remain 1st or slip to second . Probably not the latter! 3. Baltimore Ravens : Joe Flaco has caught that "its just fun to play football" and the defense has always been smoking hot year after year. Desire is a strange thing when the candles Burning out (Raven D). 4. New England Patriots : We survived a superior coaches adjustment in a second half of football that was just 1:00 min not enough and one future hall of Farmer not present. 5. New York Jets : There's a lot of potential and a quarter back that would love nothing more then just to throw the ball down field in a not expected passing down. The defense is lite years ahead of where they were last year , but has shown a draw back to a secondary that doesnt have either the right players or the ability to understand their assignments. (Sound familiar 3-4 vs. 4-3) 6. Denver Bronco's : Jay cutler is a good Quarter back! He can still be forced into the bad pick or two. They seemed to have a run game last night against the 3rd best run defense in the league (Oakland was an aberration). 7.Indianapolis Colts: Peyton has been under the radar for the entire season and is now emerging the team is getting notice. Definitely making the playoffs. At the End 1. Tennessee Titian's : mainly because they won a lot of games earily. My ultimate prediction is Collins short circuits and the Titian fall apart in their game after the bye. 2.New york Jets : We get the breaks and Pitt's end schedule is a power ranking shuffler for three weeks in a row.My prediction they make it to the the big one. 3. Pittsburgh Steeler's: They do enough To stay at 3. My prediction they get beat in the divisional round. 4.Indianapolis colts : Peyton is a surging. My prediction is they make it to the championship and loose. 5. New England Patriots : The stumble in and have the receiving corp to make up for bad passing. My predication they loose in wild card round. 6. Denver Bronco's : Cutler has the ability. My Prediction , they loose in the wild card round. :shit: :steelers::gpc: :jets:
The colts scare the shit out of me. I dont know how the jets defense could handle peyton, i could see him tearing us if we fail to get a decent pass rush on him (like denver), as far as the steelers they have a rough schedule they are going to be tested. We will see how good they are, so far they look like the toughest team but lets see.
You guys rankings the pats and colts ahead of the jets are clueless. When was the last time the colts won a game by more than 4 points? I'm not that impressed by them, even if they are winning. And the jets went into NE and beat them on the road, nuff said. 1. Steelers 2. Jets 3. Titans 4. Colts 5. Broncos 6. Ravens 7. Patriots 8. Dolphins
Sad to see everyone ranking the Broncos so low. Our defense has gotten a bad wrap from the media. We are NOT as bad as the media keeps saying. Plus unlike last year, we are getting MUCH better each week. Our defense is hitting it's stride. Also, injuries have plagued our defense. Champ Bailey will be back soon, and we have lost all three starting LB's. A couple will return before playoffs start. I'm not saying our defense is great, but don't let the media dictate your opinions of an improving, solid defense. Good game by the way. pretty much injury free lol on both sides.
Who really cares at this point, it will be proven on the field when the playoffs start. All I know is their is not one dominant team this year like their has been in the AFC over the last 10 years or so. It is wide open and any team that makes the playoffs this year will have a shot to make it to the SB. With the Jets ability to run the ball & stop the run, plus the fact that they have a legendary QB, I like their chances come playoff time.
